What does the educational coordination project involve?

The coordination office is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) with the aim of establishing a local contact point on the topic of "Integration through Education". The project office has extensive overview knowledge of the educational landscape in the district, from early childhood education to adult education.

The aim is to create transparency about the existing diversity, for which appropriate structures and measures must be created. An improvement of the educational opportunities for new immigrants in the district is achieved primarily through a cooperative and coordinated collaboration of the various institutions and initiatives involved in education. Working together, it is possible to initiate new developments in the field of "integration through education" for the region.

Immigration affects all areas, which is why educational coordination is an interface between different departments, educational institutions, initiatives and civil society.

The "Fact Check Immigration and Integration" bundles existing data and prepares current developments in the district of Rottal-Inn in a clear and factual manner.

The exchange of knowledge and the further development of the existing educational offers are structured by network meetings, working groups, specialist events or counselling sessions.
