Purposes and legal basis for the processing of personal data

The purpose of the processing is to fulfil the public tasks assigned to us by the legislator.

The legal basis for the processing of your data is, unless otherwise stated in individual cases, Article 4(1) of the Bavarian Data Protection Act (BayDSG) in conjunction with Article 6(1)(e) of the basic data protection regulation (DSGVO). Accordingly, we are permitted to process the data required to fulfil a task incumbent on us.

Insofar as you have consented to processing in individual cases, the data processing is based on Article 6(1) letter a DSGVO.

Personal data recipients

If necessary in the respective procedure, your data may be passed on to other bodies for the purpose of processing your request. If necessary, your data will be transferred to the responsible supervisory and audit authorities to exercise the respective rights of control.

In order to avert dangers to security in information technology, data may be forwarded to the State Office for Information Security in the case of electronic transmission and processed there on the basis of Art. 12 et seq. of the Bavarian E-Government Act.

In some cases, we use external service providers to process or transmit your data. These have been carefully selected and commissioned by us, are bound by our instructions and are checked regularly.

Storage duration of personal data

Your data will only be stored as long as it is necessary for the fulfilment of tasks in compliance with legal retention periods.

Your rights

As far as we process personal data from you, you are entitled to the following rights as the person concerned:

You have the right to information about the data stored about you (Art. 15 DSGVO).

Should incorrect personal data be processed, you have the right to correction (Art. 16 DSGVO).

If the legal requirements are met, you can request the deletion or restriction of processing (Art. 17 and 18 DSGVO).

If you have consented to the processing or if a contract for data processing exists and the data processing is carried out using automated procedures, you may have a right to data transferability (Art. 20 DSGVO).

You have the right to object to the processing of your data at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation, if the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 e DSGVO (Article 6 para. 1 e DSGVO).

Should you have any questions, please contact us in confidence.

Please note that proof of identification is required for any information on personal data. This means that it is not possible to obtain information on this by telephone or e-mail.

Right of withdrawal to consent

If you have consented to the processing and the processing is based on this consent, you can revoke the consent at any time for the future. The legality of the data processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation is not affected by this.

B. Information on the Internet presence

Data logging

When you access these Internet pages, you transmit data to our web server via your Internet browser. The following data is recorded during an ongoing connection for communication between your Internet browser and our web server:

Date and time of the request

Name of the requested file

Page from which the file was requested

Access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)

Web browser and operating system used

complete IP address of the requesting computer

data volume transferred

For reasons of technical security, in particular to defend against attempts to attack our web server, we store this data for 14 days and then automatically delete or make it anonymous. Anonymised log data to ensure functionality will be deleted after 60 days at the latest.

Active components

In the information offer of the District Office Rottal-Inn active components with Javascript are used. This function can be switched off by the adjustment of your Internet browser. If you deactivate Javascript, however, the functionality of our Internet pages may be restricted.

Cookies

The Internet pages partly use so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. They are small text files that are stored on your computer by your web browser. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, more effective and safer.

The cookies we use are so-called "session cookies", which are automatically deleted after your visit.

The data processed by cookies is required for the above-mentioned purposes to perform our task, which is in the public interest, in accordance with Art. 6(1) e DSGVO.

Most browsers are set up to accept the use of cookies, but this function can be switched off for the current session or permanently by setting your Internet browser. If cookies are deactivated, however, the functionality of our Internet pages may be restricted.

Evaluation of user behaviour (web tracking systems; range measurement)

Programs for the evaluation of user behaviour are generally not used on our Internet pages.

An exception to this is our Internet presence www.berufswahl-rottal-inn.de. There we use the web analysis tool Matomo, with which we carry out anonymous range measurements. This is done exclusively for the demand-oriented design of the Internet presence and for the evaluation of the project success in the regional management of the district.

Your IP address is first anonymised so that no personal reference can be established. Afterwards, our evaluation is carried out on an anonymised basis. This function can generally be switched off by you by adjusting your Internet browser settings.

In addition, you can decide on the homepage of www.berufswahl-rottal-inn.de at the bottom left-hand side under "Matomo Opt-Out" whether a unique web analysis cookie may be stored in your browser to enable us to collect and analyse statistical data. If you decide against it, click in the same place to place the Matomo opt-out cookie in your browser.

Information on social media

The District Office Rottal-Inn maintains online presences within social networks and platforms to inform about services and to communicate with the citizens active there. The use of so-called "Social Media Plugins" within our internet pages is deliberately avoided for reasons of data protection. Instead, there is only a link to our online presence.

We expressly point out that social media platforms store personal data of their users and use it for business purposes. When using these services, the terms and conditions and data processing guidelines of the respective providers apply.

C. Information on individual processing operations

Contact and online forms

On our website there are contact forms which can be used for electronic contact. If you take this opportunity, the data entered in the input mask will be transmitted to us and stored for as long as necessary and legally required to process your request. Your data will be transmitted in an encrypted connection (SSL) and are protected from being read by third parties.

Furthermore, various application forms are available on our Internet pages. These are partly provided by a service provider on our behalf. These services are subject to our data protection regulations and controls. Your data entered in the online forms will only be stored until the filling process is completed.

Electronic mail (e-mail)

Information that you send to us unencrypted by electronic mail (e-mail) may be read by third parties during transmission. As a rule, we cannot verify your identity and do not know who is behind an e-mail address. A legally secure communication by simple e-mail is therefore not guaranteed. We use - like many e-mail providers - filters against unwanted advertising ("SPAM filters"), which in rare cases also automatically classify normal e-mails as unwanted advertising and delete them. E-mails which contain damaging programs ("viruses") are automatically deleted by us in any case.

If you want to send us messages that are worthy of protection, we recommend that you encrypt and sign them to prevent unauthorized access and falsification on the transmission path. Alternatively, you can send the message to us by conventional mail.

You can send PGP-encrypted e-mails to the following e-mail address:

poststelle@rottal-inn.de

You can find our PGP communication key here: public key

Information on the "GpG4Win" encryption software, which was developed on behalf of the Federal Office for Information Security, is available as a free download at www.gpg4win.de. The installation of PGP for communication with the Bavarian administration is described in more detail in the brochure (PDF) available there.

Please also let us know if and how we can send you encrypted e-mails to answer your mailings. If you are unable to receive encrypted e-mails, please provide us with your postal address for confidential messages.

Calendar of Events

Report event (RCE event via WEB form)

We use the data you enter for the further processing of your submitted event. For this purpose, we will pass on your data to our responsible editorial team via the web-based event software RCE-Event. After the editorial team has checked the content, your submitted event will be published or rejected.

By using this contact form, you are asking the website operator to publish all the data you have entered to promote your registered event without restriction and to publish and pass on this data via partner websites, mobile apps, radio or print products. If the event has expired, the website operator will automatically stop the publication. In individual cases, your registered data will be stored in encrypted form for up to three years in order to provide you with greater ease of use, e.g. by pre-filling fields, when you report events again.

In case you are not the organizer (check mark in the registration form), your personal contact data will not be published and will not be passed on, but regarding possible copyright infringements or punishable content, will be stored encrypted for up to three years.

Your personal contact data will not be evaluated, passed on or otherwise processed.
